00:01:27.087 --> 00:01:33.487
Otherwise, this Action Saturday is going to help you isolate what actually matters and get rid of that to-do list.

00:01:33.487 --> 00:01:34.730
Take it away, dan.

00:01:35.161 --> 00:01:43.046
Hey everyone, dan Mott, here and in today's Action Saturday, we are going to be talking about how to plan the perfect, productive weekend day.

00:01:43.046 --> 00:01:51.950
So here's what I want you to do I want you to go ahead and find a blank journal or notebook, something you can write down in week over week, day over day.

00:01:51.950 --> 00:02:00.126
I want you to dedicate this journal, this notebook, to being able to start planning your weeks and your days more efficiently so you can be more productive.

00:02:00.126 --> 00:02:02.344
So go ahead and pause this.

00:02:02.344 --> 00:02:06.323
If you need to Go dig something up, go to the store, buy it and then pick it back up when you're ready.

00:02:06.323 --> 00:02:13.146
We'll start to write down on the piece of paper at the very top, running down the left hand side of the page.

00:02:13.146 --> 00:02:15.695
I want you to write monday's date.

00:02:15.695 --> 00:02:23.266
So for whatever week you're planning if it happens to be today, or if it happens to be tomorrow or your middle in the week start from last monday.

00:02:23.266 --> 00:02:30.050
You're going to write the day of the week starting with Monday and then you're going to equally space down the page.

00:02:30.050 --> 00:02:32.364
You're going to write the days of the week that you work.

00:02:32.364 --> 00:02:38.486
So for most of you, it'll be the start of the week and then Monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday, friday.

00:02:38.486 --> 00:02:40.953
All the way down the left-hand column of the page.

00:02:40.953 --> 00:02:51.923
Underneath each of those, you're going to make three circles and you're going to fill them with A, b and C for both, at the top, underneath the week as well as underneath each day of the week.

00:02:51.923 --> 00:03:02.650
So your page, when you're done, is going to look like day of the week starting Monday, abc, monday ABC, tuesday ABC, wednesday ABC, and so on.

00:03:02.650 --> 00:03:10.688
Now what you want to to do is you want to at the start of your week, at the start of your day, you want to take about 10 to 15 minutes to yourself.

00:03:10.688 --> 00:03:27.983
It's better if you do this early on, but take some time with yourself to really truly reflect what is the single most important thing that I can do today, right now, that will make the biggest impact on my life and business, and you write that down in A.

00:03:27.983 --> 00:03:33.423
Now, on Monday, you're going to do this for both the week and the day, and then the rest of the week you're just going to do it for the day.

00:03:35.328 --> 00:03:41.921
I personally like to start with what's on my mind, what is my subconscious telling me that this is the most important thing that I can be doing right now.

00:03:41.921 --> 00:03:48.020
But I also want to make sure that I don't miss deadlines and I don't miss out on other things that are important that I might be forgetting about.

00:03:48.020 --> 00:03:50.705
So I have a big list.

00:03:50.705 --> 00:03:57.527
I personally use ClickUp to kind of store this list and my due dates and when I need to get things done and how much of a priority they are.

00:03:57.527 --> 00:04:03.183
But I use this combination of what is top of mind for me and where is my running list of activities to do.

00:04:03.204 --> 00:04:04.925
You're going to use the 80-20 rule, right?

00:04:04.925 --> 00:04:05.806
You're not going to do everything.

00:04:05.806 --> 00:04:11.031
What is the absolute most important, what is the number one most important thing I can be doing this week, today, right now?

00:04:11.031 --> 00:04:14.794
And you're going to repeat that process every week and every day.

00:04:14.794 --> 00:04:21.463
And as you start to go through your day, you want to make sure that you are checking off every single one of those lines, no matter how busy your day gets.

00:04:21.463 --> 00:04:34.850
These are the three most important things that you need to accomplish today, and if you do this, day over day, week over week, you will continue to be more productive, more focused, and it is just going to change your life.

00:04:34.850 --> 00:04:41.706
So that's today's Action, saturday episode Go, take action, let's get more productive.

00:04:41.706 --> 00:04:44.172
Here's to getting better and better every day.
