Hi, Randall! Thanks for joining us today. Tell us about your business. Who do you serve, how do you serve them, and what's the impact that your business and work makes?
I work with business leaders who are not satisfied with the results of their sales and marketing efforts. I craft realistic strategies so that brands can book more appointments and close more deals.
Tell us about the moment you finally felt like you went from wantrepreneur to entrepreneur.
When my companies began to stand on their own two feet and develop their own audience independent of myself, I felt like a true entrepreneur.
Describe the moment or period in your life/career that motivated you to make the entrepreneurial leap.
In the end, having control over my own destiny gave me the strength to take the entrepreneurial leap.
Describe a tool, service, or software that has been a game-changer for your business. How does it contribute to your success?
Dripify. Running slow, effective campaigns on LinkedIn really made a difference.
We know that success is very often a non-linear path. Tell us about a failure, pivot point, or lesson that changed your course or direction and helped to get you where you are today.
Success can be a curse. More clients. More staff. Means more planning and preparation.
What unconventional strategy did you employ that significantly impacted your business?
My unconventional strategy has been to ask for nothing. In a time where everyone seems to "Sell", prospects have built up a natural resistance to anything that sounds like selling. On the other hand, demonstrating true compassion for your prospects builds an honest relationship that others want to be part of.
What’s something you wish you knew sooner that you’d give as advice for aspiring or newer entrepreneurs?
Remember that you are building a business that is designed to stand alone without making it about yourself.
